The fully automatic Veroval® Wrist blood pressure monitor is ideal for those who likes to measure their blood pressure in a fast and easy way.

It has the important Visual Position Control smart feature to prevent measurement errors that can be frequent when using other wrist models.

The Veroval® Wrist blood pressure monitor has an irregular heartbeat detection, which is particularly important for hypertensives and the Comfort Air Technology to ensure a gentle measurement.

For easy handling, the device has a large display for easy reading of the measured values and allows an analysis of the results by a traffic light system as per the World Health Organisation (WHO) classification of blood pressure values.

In addition to fulfilling the legal requirements of the European Norm standards, Veroval® Wrist has been clinically validated in accordance with the protocols of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH for high accuracy).

Visual Position Control

For precise measurement values with a wrist blood pressure monitor, it is important that the blood pressure monitor is positioned at the height of your heart. A position check is integrated into the monitor as an additional aid to indicate when the blood pressure monitor is in the correct position. If you see ‘OK’ on the display, you have found the correct position.

Irregular Heartbeat Detection

For accurate blood pressure results, it is important to measure the blood pressure outside any episode of heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). Heart rhythm disorders may sometimes produce false measurements or lower the measurement accuracy. If ‘Irregular Heartbeat Detection’ symbol* is shown in the display, the device has detected an irregular heartbeat during the measurement. However, the measurement may also have been disrupted by body movement or speaking. It is best to repeat the measurement. If you regularly see the ‘Irregular Heartbeat Detection ’symbol when measuring your blood pressure, we recommend that your doctor checks your heart rhythm.

Traffic light indicator

To better evaluate the results, there is a colour traffic light system on the left side of the Veroval® Blood Pressure Monitors* that directly describes the results. This system enables easier categorisation of the measured value of Veroval® as per the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) for classifying blood pressure values:

Comfort Air Technology allows more comfortable and gentle upper arm measurements.

Unlike other blood pressure monitors with extreme cuff inflation pressure, the smart Comfort Air Technology enables the systolic blood pressure value to be approximated during each individual inflation as the device always uses just as much pressure as is really needed!

What are the advantages of the Veroval® Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor?
The Veroval® Wrist blood pressure monitor has an integrated visual position control (measurement at heart level). In addition, it has an arrhythmia detection, which is particularly important for hypertensives, a large display for easy reading of the measured values and a traffic light system for classification of the results. The blood pressure monitor can be connected to a PC via the supplied USB cable. On the PC, you can evaluate the measured values using the Veroval® medi.connectsoftware. The memory of the device can store 2 × 100 measurements (user 1 and user 2) and the average values of all measurements, including all morning and all evening measurements of the last 7 days.
Why is it so important that a wrist monitor is positioned at heart level?
If the wrist is not held at heart level during measurement, inaccurate measurements will be obtained. Because correct placement of the cuff at heart level is essential for accurate measurement, the Veroval® Wrist blood pressure monitor comes with an additional aid, a visual position control system, which indicates the correct position of the monitor. If ‘OK’ is seen on the monitor, the correct position has been found.
How many measurements does the Veroval® Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor store?
The Veroval® Wrist blood pressure monitor stores up to 100 measurements for each user memory (a total of 2 users possible), as well as the average value of all measurements and the evening (PM) & morning (AM) average of the last 7 days. The most recent measured value is displayed first, and the oldest last. Once all memory slots are occupied, the oldest value is deleted. The blood pressure values are always stored together with the date and time
